

The HLF10KS tethered UAV portable power station is an integrated deployment and recovery system designed for continuous ground-to-air power supply. It consists of a winch module, tether box, integrated high-voltage cable, and ground power supply unit. The system provides wired power transmission, real-time data communication, and automatic cable management for tethered drones. The winch assembly includes the main frame, cable storage drum, and electronic control unit.

Main Power Circuit Breaker: Master switch for all electrical components, including control power and main high-voltage output.
Main Power Switch Button: Controls high-voltage output to the UAV. When pressed, the system outputs DC 1000V to power the drone.
Main Power Indicator Light (Integrated into the button ring): Indicates power status.
Steady on: Standby mode
Breathing (pulsing): Load detected, power is being delivered to the UAV
Torque Adjustment Knob: Adjusts cable retrieval tension.
Transparent Cover: Allows visual inspection of remaining cable on the drum.

AC Input Connection:
Connect the supplied power cable from AC 220V mains or a generator to the aviation socket on the tether box. The power source must be rated for a minimum continuous load of 10 kW.
High-Voltage Output Connection:
The ground-to-UAV power connection uses an XT90 connector (DC 800V output). Connect this to the drone's onboard power management unit. The onboard DC-DC converter steps down the voltage to 50V or 58.5V for the drone's flight systems.
Load-Bearing Hook:
Ensure the load-bearing hook is properly secured before flight. The hook line bears the mechanical tension, not the electrical cable.
Turn the torque adjustment knob to the minimum setting.
Close the Main Power Circuit Breaker. The LCD display will illuminate.
Press the Main Power Switch Button. The cooling fan will start, and the indicator light will turn steady on.
The LCD will display output voltage, current, and power.
When the drone draws power, the indicator light will switch to breathing mode (pulsing), confirming power delivery.
Keep torque at minimum or apply light tension (recommended in windy conditions).
The UAV pays out cable as it ascends.
Adjust the torque knob to maintain constant tension on the cable. This ensures stable flight and prevents slack or excessive drag.
Gradually increase torque to retrieve cable, synchronizing with the UAV's descent speed.
The winch actively recovers cable while maintaining proper tension.
After landing, press the Main Power Switch to cut off high-voltage output.
Perform any final cable retrieval if needed.
Turn off the Main Power Circuit Breaker and disconnect the AC input cable.
Level Surface: Ensure the unit is placed on stable, level ground before operation.
Insulated Gloves: Operators must wear insulated gloves when handling high-voltage connections.
Torque Adjustment: Always adjust the torque knob slowly and gradually. Avoid sudden changes.
Cable Care: Do not drag the tether cable on the ground. Avoid sharp objects, stones, or abrasive surfaces that could damage the cable jacket.
Post-Operation: Neatly coil all cables and store them inside the box. Do not leave cables exposed to foot traffic or vehicles.
